Can I register onsite at the Rally in June? |
| A. |
Yes, onsite registration is $50.00 and does not guarantee any rally merchandise. It is better to pre-register by May 3,2012.

Does Alaska have a Helmet Law? |
| A. |
Yes - all passengers must be wearing a DOT approved helmet. Riders have the option. |

Is the Rally open to the public? |
| A. |
The Rally is a private event held for currently registered H.O.G. members and their guests. |

If I cannot attend every day of the Rally, do I still have to pay the full registration fee? |
| A. |
Yes, the price for the Rally is based on the rides, entertainment, and other rally sponsored activities. There are no day passes. |

Will there be organized rides? |
| A. |
There will be many opportunities for individual rides, but no organized group rides. There is a premier ride called the Compass Rose Challenge. At our visitor information booth you can secure the services of a Ride Host. Or the help of other bikers willing to assist you in finding any location, no matter where on the compass you might want to go. |

Will there be field events? |

Yes, our event coordinator has done events in the past and is putting together some fantastic events for you to participate in. Check Saturday’s agenda for the Bike Show, Bike Games and Pet Event. |

If I volunteer to work the rally do I still have to register? |
| A. |
Yes, volunteers must be a registered H.O.G. member or a registered guest of a H.O.G. member and must sign a waiver of liability form. Remember, this is an event produced BY members, FOR members. We expect our volunteers to also participate in the rally. Most volunteers will only commit a few hours of their time. |

Does everyone need to wear a wristband? |

Yes, a wristband is required to enter the Rally site. All members and guests including children must have a wristband.
NOTE: the wristband must be put on the attendee's wrist at the time of registration. We are not allowed to give anyone a wristband for someone else that is not in physical attendance at Registration.

What are the registration hours of operation and location? |

Registration will be at the Alaska State Fairgrounds Rally site. For the most up to date times, please click on "schedule" on the left side menu. |

Do I need to sign a release form? |
| A. |
Yes, all attendees must sign a release form. Want to speed up the process at registration? Click on the Release Form at the bottom of any screen, download the form, print it out, fill it out and bring it with you. |

What if I don’t belong to a local Chapter? |
| A. |
Get recruited by a chapter for one of four teams. Assistance can be provided by a Visitor Host, at our visitor information booth. |

What is the Chapter Challenge? |
| A. |
The Chapter Challenge is an opportunity for each chapter to bring forth talent, to promote unity and fun through teamwork and camaraderie. Points can be earned by teams through pre-registration, Thursday’s Pioneer Pot Cookoff, Friday’s Talent Show and Saturday’s team challenge. Be on hand for the presentation of the Chapter Challenge Trophy during the award ceremony after the games. |

Why would I want to attend this rally? |

The 2012 Rally Committee is working hard to bring you a first class experience and keep it exciting, fun, relaxing, and cost effective. We will have rides that spark the interest of all individuals. Plan to stay around the fair grounds in the evening for top-notch fun and entertainment. Our chapters will be battling it out to see who can win the chapter challenge. The bike games and pet event will be fun for all. |

What does the H.O.G. Member Pre-Registration fee of $40.00 include? |

Pre-registration Bonus Drawing, rally pin, rally patch. Registration packet which includes a rally wristband, admission to rally entertainment and activities, numerous meals, the rally guidebook, ride maps, coupons and discounts to area businesses, camping at the rally site. |

What does the Guest Pre-Registration fee of $35.00 include? |

The fee includes entry into the rally, rally program, meal on Thursday night, entertainment on Friday and Saturday night, and free camping at the rally site. |

What forms of payment will be accepted for on-site registration? |
| A. |
Only cash/checks and money orders will be accepted for on-site registration. NO CREDIT CARDS will be accepted on-site. |

Will it be safe to Pre-Register on line with my credit card? |

Yes, H.O.G. uses Verisign to validate the security of the online registration process. You can feel safe using your Visa or Mastercard to register for the Rally. |

Now I've pre-registered and cannot attend, am I eligible for a refund? |
| A. |
No, we are sorry but all pre-registered fees are non-refundable. Unclaimed rally packets will not be mailed. If you are unable to attend the Rally, you may give your confirmation card to a friend who can pick up your packet (excluding the wristband). NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. You must be present to receive a wristband. |

Is there camping available? |

Yes - camping is available right at the Alaska State Fairgrounds, site of this years Rally. RVs and tent camping is available at no cost to the Rally participant. |

Are pets allowed? |
| A. |
Yes, pets are allowed. They must be on a leash and any "droppings" picked up. |

Can we have fires while camped at the rally? |
| A. |
Unfortunately due to fire restrictions, only propane stoves are allowed at each campsite. A Bonfire will be lit Friday and Saturday night just East of Raven Hall. |
